AC Milan striker Noah Okafor is set to fly to Germany on Monday to prepare for his move to Leipzig, with an official announcement expected if the move goes through.

The Switzerland international joined the Rossoneri from Salzburg for €15.5 million in the summer of 2023 but has been a regular for the club under Stefano Pioli and Paulo Fonseca until recently when Sergio Conceicao took over as manager.

According to Ufabet Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano, the transfer negotiations between AC Milan and Leipzig are going well. The loan will cost €1.5 million with an option to buy for €25 million.

Okafor was not on the bench in เว็บพนันออนไลน์ UFABET สมัครง่าย โปรโมชั่นมากมาย Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Cagliari, likely to prepare for Monday’s flight to Germany.

A final agreement between the two clubs was the only thing missing from allowing the deal to be complete, but Okafor will now fly to Germany. The Swiss international is join Leipzig on loan for the rest of the season and the Bundesliga side will have a buy option in the agreement.

Okafor will add versatility to a Leipzig attack that lacks quality when Xavi Simons, Loïs Openda and Benjamin Seško are not on the pitch. However, the 24-year-old is currently returning from an injury but should take little integration as he is familiar with the Red Bull style of play having previously play for Red Bull Salzburg.

This will be Leipzig’s second deal of the window after completing the signing of Ridle Baku from Wolfsburg for €4.5m last week. The 26-year-old made his debut at the weekend in Leipzig’s 4-2 win against Werder Bremen.

In his one and a half year spell at San Siro, Okafor made 52 appearances for AC Milan, scoring seven goals and providing five assists.
