West Ham are yet to make a decision on Michail Antonio future at the club, with manager Graham Potter admitting the striker is in an “unusual situation”.

Antonio, 34, has not play for the Hammers since breaking his leg in a car accident in December but his contract is expire this summer.

However, West Ham’s all-time Premier League top scorer, with 68 goals in 268 games, has returned to light training.
Explaining why there has been no announcement on Antonio, who is also out of contract next month, Potter described the striker’s situation as “unique” as he delivered an update.
“When we have something to announce, we will announce it,” Potter said when asked about Antonio’s future at a press conference on Friday.
“It’s an extraordinary situation for Michail in terms of recovering from his injury. He’s doing incredibly well. He’s had a lot to go through. We’ll support him and that’s the most important thing at the moment.”
While West Ham will be shaving 139 years – and possibly 174 depending on the Antonio decision – off the age of the Premier League’s oldest squad, they will also be making a huge saving on wages.
